Apple, Bleu Cheese and Smoked Ham Tart
We love bleu cheese in our house, so when I saw this recipe on the Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day blog, I practically drooled on the keyboard. Add a salad, light a nice fire, and pour yourself some apple cider, chilled white wine, or a cold brewski -- you're all set to watch the game!
I happen to like the AB5 method & usually have dough in the fridge, but a good alternative would be to just buy a ball of dough from your local pizza shop.

Oh, this DOES sound yummy!
And really easy, especially if you just buy a dough. I may actually stop at the supermarket on the way home & get the makings. I'm all about instant gratification (grin).
Ohhhh, thank you so much for stopping by my blog and mentioning this site. I had seen this site at one time -- might have been a reference from your blog that sent me there, but I hadn't been back so it was fun looking it over again.
This particular recipe (blue cheese) sounds awesome. Our family loves BC too!
Although I'm personally not a fan of bleu cheese (incredible, considering I'm such a cheese-a-holic) I think I'll have to try this one for my husband who would go crazy for a treat like this! Thanks for sharing. You always have such good ideas....
Bleu cheese is an acquired taste -- not all confirmed cheese heads are fans. We do like it, but I think even I would err on the side of caution on this recipe. Too much of the stuff could be overwhelming. One of my hubby favorite dishes of all time is pork scnitzel served with a roquefort cream sauce, a meal I've never tried to replicate, but now that went out and bought all of this bleu cheese.........
