Hangin' on my Fridge?

I should be hanging this on my fridge. It's at least as worthy as the fingerpaintings my grand kids have done, or the assorted invitations for upcoming events.

Alright, it's not even close to perfect, but it's my first attempt at foundation piecing, and it's only 7 1.2" on the longer sides. Did I mention it has 30 separate pieces? Can I take into account that the classroom was about as well lit as a badly lit closet?

I will be doing more, and they will be better. Cross my heart.

Oh, and this is what the pattern looks like when it's done by George.

I'm impressed.

Wow -- that is seriously tiny piecing. But it is an awesome design and beautiful pattern. Truly, I like your color combination much better than George's. You have such a good eye for color!

Thanks, Kim!

OK, it was a class, I followed instructions, and I felt like I needed a seeing eye dog after I finished. It's one of those techniques that makes you look a whole lot better than what you really are (LOVE those techniques). The true test will be when I try to replicate that triangle at home.

I really have to look into more foundation piecing because it makes all of those precise points so easy.

KD: I know! Don't that beat all? I tell you what, blogging is awesome. Think of all the wonderful friends we have made and how we have expanded our horizons. Sometimes God works in mysterious ways.

Thanks for the link in the comment on my blog. I can't reach you by email because you don't have the check mark in front of Show my Email in Edit Profile. I was wondering why there are no dates on your posts on your blog.
