You know you have a problem when you've been snowed in,  cooped up in the house for 36 hours,  you finally dig out from the 24" piles of snow, get yourself all bundled up, pack your cell phone, some flares, bottle water, snacks and a couple of blankets, say goodbye to your loved ones,  and brave the icy roads to go foraging for supplies.....

AND I didn't dare tell my hubby where I was going; he thought I was going to the grocery store. Imagine his surprise when I showed up 3 hours later with a bag full of batting, a couple of batik fat quarters and some civil war repros for a block exchange. And no food.

Love it! Can't wait to see what you make with those necessary supplies.

Gosh, I don't consider that a problem -- you've just got your priorities straight! You go, girl!
(I'll bet that outing did you some real GOOD in keeping the stir crazies at bay....)

Ha ha, Kimberly -- you who are living in sunny, warm Florida! Seriously, today is Wednesday, and I am so glad I was able to get all of that stuff at my LQS (Country Quilt Works -- www.countryquiltworks.net) We are in the midst of another storm, and this time the company where I work is closed, something that NEVER happens. Actually, the entire city of Philadelphia is pretty much shut down, and I'm hunkered down here in the 'burbs with my foraged booty.
